Swansea City Ladies given green light to prepare for return to action
Swansea City Ladies, along with all JD Cymru Premier and Welsh Premier Women’s League teams, have had their ‘Elite’ status reinstated with immediate effect.
Despite the country still being in tier 4 of the Welsh Government Control Plan, clubs in Wales’ two top-tier leagues have been given the green light to prepare for the resumption of fixtures under the FAW’s strict Return to Play COVID-19 protocols.
The Swans - the defending league champions - have not played since November’s 1-0 narrow victory over title rivals Cardiff Met at Llandarcy.
Confirmation of the rescheduled fixtures will be announced in due course.
