Under-18s prepare for FA Youth Cup tie
21st January
The Under-18s will be looking to reach the fifth round of the FA Youth Cup when they host Doncaster Rovers on Wednesday (7pm).
The young Swans face their Yorkshire opponents at Llanelli's Stebonheath Park, with the winners travelling to Chelsea in the next round.
The Swans booked their place in the last 32 following a 3-1 victory over Watford back in December, after goals from Stephen Fallon, Owain Jones and Dan James.
The Under-18s have been in fine form, moving up to second in Development League Two South following a win over Cardiff a fortnight ago.
But coach Gary Richards is aware of the task ahead with both clubs eyeing a place in the fifth round of this season's FA Youth Cup.
"We are just focussing on Doncaster," he said. "It's going to be a tough game and we'll need to be at our best to get through.
"The whole squad has been training well and we have had a number of pleasing performances in both our league and cup programme. There is no reason why we can't go into the game full of confidence.
"We have had decent crowds for the games against Watford and Cardiff, and it is great for the players to experience that.
"Night games are always special and hopefully we can put of a performance that warrants the right result."
Tickets for Wednesday's game at Stebonheath Park are £3 for adults, £1 for OAP's and FREE for Under-16s.
