Under-19s suffer first defeat of MPC

An impressive second-half performance from Harmony Academy saw the South African side secure a 3-1 victory over the Swans at Erica Park.
The Under-19s made four changes to the team that beat Battswood, with Lewis Thomas - who joined the travelling party on Thursday - replacing Gareth Owen in goal, while Connor Quigley, Joe Rodon and Kieran Evans replaced Jamie Latham, Cai Owens and Cameron Gilchrist.
And they nearly made a perfect start as Kyle Copp saw a speculative 45-yard effort drop a fraction wide of the post with the goalkeeper stranded.
However, the Swans were dealt a blow early on as Tom Dyson limped off injured, while Jack Evans replaced him.
Chances were few and far between in the early exchanges, Harmony firing narrowly over at one end while Kyle Copp saw a low free kick well held by the goalkeeper.
But it was the South African outfit that broke the deadlock after 24 minutes as a low cross from the right was turned home from close range.
However, the Swans hit back to level on the stroke of half-time as Liam Cullen was tripped in the box, and Copp stepped up to score from the spot and register his second goal in as many games.

The Swans made one change at the interval as full-back Connor Quigley was replaced by Cameron Gilchrist.
Liam Cullen saw a low shot comfortably saved by the goalkeeper, while Aaron Lewis' cross from the right was headed just wide by Copp from six yards out.
But it was Harmony who regained the advantage with ten minutes to play as possession was lost in the Swans half, allowing captain to drill a low shot past Lewis Thomas.
Swansea thought they had equalised three minutes later as Dan James crossed for Copp to tap home, but the linesman ruled that the midfielder was in an offside position.
And Harmony went on to grab a third and seal the victory in the final minute as a well-worked move was finished in style with a cool left-foot finish.
The Swans now look ahead to Saturday's final Group C game against the University of Stellenbosch, knowing victory will see them move into the knockout phase.
