Young Swans called into Wales U21s & U19s

Five Swansea City youngsters have been called up to represent Wales Under-21s ahead of next month’s internationals.

Under-23s captain Joe Rodon featured twice for the Young Dragons after being named in Rob Page’s squad to face Switzerland and Portugal earlier this month.

Defender Cian Harries, midfielders, Daniel James, Jack Evans and forward Liam Cullen have also been called up.

Wales Under-21s continue their UEFA Championship qualifiers away against Liechtenstein on Thursday, October 5.

Meanwhile, four players have been named into Wales’ Under-19s squad to face two international friendly matches against Switzerland next month.

Under-18s captain Brandon Cooper will join Joe Lewis, Mason Jones-Thomas and Keiran Evans in the U19 squad.

They face the Swiss at the Corbett Sports Stadium in Rhyl on Tuesday, 3 and Thursday, 5 October.
