Jonathan de Guzman felt luck just wasn't on the Swans' side as Kuban Krasnodar denied them victory with a last-gasp equaliser in Russia.
The Swans were heading towards a 1-0 victory at the Kuban Stadium thanks to Wilfried Bony's early strike while Kuban also had defender Xandao sent off in the last 15 minutes after receiving a second booking.
But they ended up with just one point after sub Ibrahima Balde struck in added-on time to give the hosts a share of the spoils.
It was a familiar ending to the 1-1 draw at the Liberty a fortnight ago, which saw Kuban claim a late equaliser after Balde had won a penalty which Djibril Cisse converted.
This latest result was cruel on the Swans, who had dominated the game and enjoyed the better chances throughout.
Valencia's victory in St Gallen moved Michael Laudrup's side off the top of Group A and into second spot.
And de Guzman felt the outcome was harsh on the Swans.



"We had control of the game from the start. We played our passing game and scored a goal in the first few minutes," said the Dutch international.
"In the second half we knew they would come at us strong with long balls and physically beat us but we did very well against that.
"They had the red card and we thought if we held the ball then we'd get the three points. But it was pretty much a repeat of the last game.
"It was really unlucky, and sometimes this happens in football.
"We are all disappointed as we could have gone home with three points and not just the one.
"We have very difficult games coming up and the group is still very open. We know what we have to do to progress."
