Dream day for Shelvey

1st April

A good night's sleep and three vital points were a dream scenario for fit-again Jonjo Shelvey last weekend.
The midfielder completed his first 90-minute appearance since returning from a hamstring problem as the Swans saw off Norwich City 3-0 at the Liberty on Saturday.
Shelvey made his return to first-team action after coming off the bench in the 3-1 defeat at Everton ten days ago and then he started the midweek trip to Arsenal, which he featured for 79 minutes as the Swans claimed a 2-2 draw.
He completed his full return at the weekend as the Swans picked up three crucial points thanks to a Jonathan de Guzman double and a third goal from Wayne Routledge.
And Shelvey, who celebrated the birth of his daughter Lola Fleur with partner Daisy Evans last month, revealed a good night's sleep played its part.
"I feel back to my old self now after recovering from the hamstring injury," said Shelvey, who set up Routledge for the third and final goal.
"It had been sore in recent weeks, but it was fine on Saturday - and my sister had the baby the night before so it helped me get some sleep.
"I thought we played very well against Norwich. It was a crucial three points for us and the performance was worthy of them.
"We scored some good goals, in particular Jono's second after some great skill from Wilfried.
"So it was a good weekend for us."

Victory over the Canaries at the weekend meant the feel-good factor swarmed the city, with the Swans now in 13th place with 33 points from 32 games.
The Swans remain among the clubs fighting relegation, with this being Shelvey's first experience of battling against the drop. But he insists the Swans camp is calm ahead of the six remaining games.
"I'm not one to look at the papers and the table as I just concentrate on each game as they come," added the England international.
"I'm not the type of person to be scared (of the situation). You have to stay calm and patient as well as being confident in your ability.
"If you do that then it will shine through. Monks and the coaching staff give us the confidence to bring that out of the squad."
