The Swans secured their fifth home win of the season with a convincing 2-0 victory over QPR at the Liberty Stadium.
Second-half strikes by Ki Sung-Yueng - his first at the Liberty - and Wayne Routledge ensured Garry Monk's men made a return to winning ways following Saturday's 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace.
After being frustrated in the first half by the impressive Rob Green, who made several outstanding stops to keep the Swans at bay, the deadlock was finally broken in the second period when Ki fired home from an acute angle on 78 minutes.
Routledge then doubled Swansea's lead soon after with a driven finish from 20 yards, before Wilfried Bony went close to adding Monk's side's third in the dying moments, only to see his effort rebound off the post.
This victory moved the Swans onto 22 points from 14 games, with Monk's men moving up to sixth in the table.

Garry Monk made two changes to the side that drew 1-1 with Crystal Palace on Saturday.
Leon Britton made his first start following his return from injury, replacing Jonjo Shelvey in the starting line-up, while Angel Rangel made way for Jazz Richards.
QPR, meanwhile, made just the one change from their 3-2 victory over Leicester City at the weekend as Richard Dunne replaces Mauricio Isla in the starting eleven.

There were chances at either end early on into proceedings at the Liberty Stadium as Niko Kranjcar fizzed a free-kick just off target before Wayne Routledge was presented with a glorious opportunity to open the scoring for the Swans inside three minutes.
The 29-year-old winger was played clean through by Wilfried Bony, only to be denied down low by QPR goalkeeper Rob Green, who was quick off his line.
The English shot stopper was then called into action again, five minutes later, when he did well to turn Kyle Bartley's powerful header around the post after the Swansea centre-back connected well with Gylfi Sigurdsson's in-swinging corner.
Midway through the first period, the Swans, who looked a threat every time they went forward, had further chances as Routledge saw a volleyed effort from inside the box blocked at pointblank range, while Sigurdsson saw his deflected effort dribble just inches wide of the post.
After Joey Barton received a booking for a foul on Routledge on the edge of the box, the impressive Green produced yet more heroics to parry away Sigurdsson's fiercely struck free-kick off the line.
Meanwhile, at the other end, Lukasz Fabianski was called into action for the first time on the night to deny Leroy Fer's header from six yards before Eduardo Vargas' effort from 20 yards fizzed wide of goal.

The Swans were quick out of the blocks after the interval and Bony went close to putting Monk's men in front within two minutes of the restart.
After latching on to Sigurdsson's delightful through ball, the Ivory Coast international did well to hold off his marker but was met by a timely challenge by Richard Dunne, which sent his effort looping over the bar and onto the roof of the net.
And, just past the hour mark, within the space of a few seconds, Bony was twice denied by the imperious Green. After the 25-year-old striker struck straight at the Hoops 'keeper following Routledge's squared ball, he then saw a stunning volley saved spectacularly by the 34-year-old.
But with just over ten minutes left on the clock, the deadlock was finally broken when Ki Sung-Yueng drilled low past Green from an acute angle.
The South Korea international picked up possession on the left side of the box before side-stepping Nedum Onuoha and firing across goal into the far corner.
And with Green finally beaten, Swansea's second came in quick succession as Routledge doubled their advantage three minutes later.
Following a neat squared ball by substitute Nathan Dyer, Routledge rifled a shot past the out-stretched glove of Green from the edge of the box.
The Swans then had a chance for a third as Bony did well to turn Dunne before firing a shot with the outside of his boot against the post.
