Lee Trundle is a special guest at Swansea City AFC Community Trust’s ‘Virtual Cuppa’ session on Thursday morning, as part of the We Wear the Same Shirt initiative.

'Magic Daps' will be joined by Swansea City Ladies coach Ian Owen, with participants from the programme encouraged to come along and reminisce with the duo as they discuss their careers with the club over a cup of tea.

Launched by the FAW and supported by Time to Change Wales, the We Wear the Same Shirt project is aimed at those seeking to improve their physical and mental wellbeing.

Prior to the Coronavirus pandemic, our weekly face-to-face sessions provided a great opportunity for participants of all ages and abilities to play walking football and socialise in a pressure-free, relaxed environment.

But due to the ongoing lockdown, the Trust has decided to take the sessions online via Zoom with the aims of supporting social interaction and positive wellbeing.

Launched last week to tie in with Time To Talk Day, all participants require to join in is internet access and a suitable electronic device - a phone, tablet or laptop.

The one-hour session begins at 10.30am on Thursday morning. To register, click HERE.

Once registered, a Zoom link will be emailed to you ahead of each session.
