Llewellyn delighted with "satisfying" cup win

Chris Llewellyn expressed his delight as Swansea City Under-19s lifted the FAW Youth Cup for a seventh successive season at Newtown's Latham Park on Wednesday night.
Two goals from Kyle Copp and Owain Jones were added to by first-year scholar Causso Darame in the second-half to secure a 5-0 win over Welsh Premier academy side gap Connah's Quay.
Victory in Mid-Wales see's the young Swans win the title for a record sixteenth time in the academy's history.
And coach Chris Llewellyn admitted the win highlighted the groups continued progress over the course of the season.
"We are delighted, we target to win this competition every season." Llewellyn said. 
"The team have done well throughout the course of the campaign. We have scored a lot of goals en route to the final and finished it off in style tonight.



"Overall it was a very pleasing performance, Connah's Quay made the first half tough for us, but we were professional throughout and continued to created chances that we scored.
"The season has been a massive learning curve for myself and all the players. The start of the season was very tough but we have responded team to progress and develop.
"To top that merit group in the league after a difficult start and now win this competition is very satisfying.
"It is nice to end the season with a trophy but we must now re-focus and start looking ahead to next season where we hope to progress, push on and achieve even more than we did this year."
