Jordan Ayew made his third successive Crystal Palace start as they drew with Newcastle United over the weekend.

Ayew played the first 71 minutes at Selhurst Park, where he was up against former Swans team-mate Federico Fernandez.

It was Fernandez who enjoyed the reunion more as the game ended goalless.

Andre Ayew, meantime, hopes to feature when Fenerbahce face Besiktas in the Turkish top flight tonight.

Borja, who has a muscle injury, was again missing for Alaves as they romped to a 5-1 win over Rayo Vallecano, who included Swans old boy Jordi Amat.

Youngster Keston Davies was an unused substitute in Notts County’s goalless draw at Northampton.

Fellow academy defender Ben Cabango was in action for The New Saints as they drew 0-0 with Bala Town.
