Swansea City have been praised by the Premier League for launching a Wellbeing App designed specifically for its players and staff.

The app contains key information for players and staff within Paul Clement’s first-team.

As a club, we take the wellbeing of our players very seriously, and the introduction of the app will help new signings, in particular, settle into their new surroundings.

The app provides players and staff with areas of interest and how to get to the training facilities, along with how to register with your local doctor and what nurseries and schools to send their children to.

That, together with a full contact list of the PFA contacts and coaches, is included along with their up-to-date training schedule and information on anti-doping.

Michelle Farrer, Player care manager at the Premier League, said: “It’s great to see Swansea City producing a wellbeing app dedicated to supporting players and football staff.

“This is something we fully support because the wellbeing of players is something we take very seriously.

“We look forward to working with Swansea on Player Care over the coming season.”

Swans boss Paul Clement added: “It’s good that we have introduced a player app at the club.

“It will help integrate new players and provide an information system for lots of different areas that will help players both on and off the field.

“It will also provide a great communication tool for the club and playing staff.”
