Report | Swansea City U18s 1 Swindon Town U18s 1

30th July
Seb Dabrowski U18s

Swansea City Under-18s were held to a draw by Swindon Town Under-18s in their latest pre-season friendly.

After falling behind early, the Swans fought back with a goal from substitute Seb Dabrowski, but couldn’t find a winner as they continue preparations for the start of the 2022-23 Professional Development League season.

Swindon found themselves ahead early, from the penalty spot after David Roberts was adjudged to have committed a foul in the area.

Geoff Bony had the chance to level soon after, doing well to intercept in the Robins box, but his shot was well saved by the goalkeeper.

Kyrell Wilson came close as well, cutting inside to find some space for a shot but dragging his effort just wide.

The Swans would eventually find their equaliser just before the break, Dabrowski powering a header home from Wilson’s corner.

Cameron Llewellyn came close to putting the Swans ahead after the interval, but his low effort from the edge of the box was held well by the Robins keeper in the second half.

Zane Myers tried his luck from distance late on, with his curling effort flying just over the cross bar.
