Swans stars in hospital visit

Members of the Swans squad helped to spread the festive cheer at Morriston Hospital during a special Christmas visit.

After recently hosting hundreds of young patients from the hospital in a special party at the Liberty, the squad visited children who couldn't make that event.

The players headed to various wards at the hospital to chat to children, sign autographs and hand out gifts.

Swans defender Alfie Mawson underlined the importance of meeting the children ahead of Christmas.

"The players really enjoyed meeting the children at the hospital. It was an important visit for us – we look forward to seeing them," said the centre-back.

“It was a massive privilege to speak to them and have pictures taken. They have gone through a lot in the past year but continue to be positive and the smiles on their faces really lit up the room. They are great examples to us all.”
