A number of Swansea City players were in action during the recent busy international break.

Defensive trio Joe Rodon, Connor Roberts and Ben Cabango all saw game time as Wales remained top of their Nations League group with a draw against the Republic of Ireland and a win in Bulgaria.

Rodon started those two games, as well as the friendly defeat at Wembley, with Roberts starting at Wembley and in Dublin.

Cabango, meanwhile, won his second cap as he played the second 45 minutes of the defeat to the Three Lions.

Andre Ayew scored a brace as Ghana beat Qatar 5-1 in a friendly, with the Swansea forward also playing the full 90 minutes of a 3-0 defeat to Mali.

At under-21 level, Brandon Cooper and Liam Cullen started Wales’ European qualifying defeat to Belgium, with Dan Williams coming on from the bench, while Lewis Webb and Joe Lewis were unused substitutes.

Williams would also feature at under-19 level in defeat to England. Webb, Tivonge Rushesha, Josh Thomas, Jacob Jones and Cameron Evans also featured in the 2-0 loss.

Marc Guehi, meanwhile, helped England secure their place at next summer’s finals thanks to a draw with Andorra and victory over Turkey.

The on-loan Chelsea defender was an unused substitute in the draw against the minnows, but was restored to the line up for the key win over Turkey at Molineux.
