Under-18s secure win over Millwall

23rd February

The Under-18s secured back-to-back league wins following a 2-0 victory over Millwall at Landore on Saturday.
After a goalless first half, it took until the 69th minute for the deadlock to be broken as Kyle Copp netted from the penalty spot.
And the win was sealed late on as Dan James finished off a superb counter attack to seal all three points for the home side.
"It was a good win and it keeps the momentum going," said coach Gary Richards. "We controlled the majority of the game, but we didn't play with the tempo and intensity that we have been in recent weeks.
"The second goal was a bit special as the move started on the edge of our box and within a few passes we had the ball in the net, which was really pleasing."
