Swansea City Ladies welcome Aberystwyth Town to Llandarcy in the Genero Adran Premier this afternoon (2pm).

Previously the league leaders have been in fine attacking form when facing Aber, having scored 21 goals in the last five league meetings.

Today’s opponents have everything to play for as they look to maintain fourth spot in the Adran Premier, with the end of phase one looming.

Chris Church: “I’m expecting them to come out at as again and make it difficult, which they did really well at last time.

“As always, it isn’t about what they do, it’s about what we do and how we go about our business.

“We’ve shown we can combat teams that have made life difficult for us, so I am looking forward to it and so are the players.

“We want to finish unbeaten, the players know that and that is the pressure we put on ourselves.”

Remember the last time?

Last time out the Swans extended their lead at the top of the Genero Adran Premier to six points with a comfortable win over Aber.

Swansea started on the front foot but had to be patient to find their way through Aber’s defence as Laura Davies broke the deadlock on the stroke of half-time.

On her comeback from injury, Chloe Chivers doubled the lead after she replaced Rhianne Oakley.

Five minutes from the final whistle, Katy Hosford rounded off the scoring after she was able to turn Davies’ cross home.
