Swansea City will approach their Championship clash against Norwich City with no fear as they look to continue their good run, says head coach Steve Cooper.

The Swans face the Canaries at Carrow Road as the third-placed visitors take on their fourth-placed hosts, who are back in the second tier following their relegation from the Premier League at the end of last season.

The Canaries – who still have in place a number of the squad who helped them win the Championship title two seasons ago – are unbeaten in their last six games, winning four.

However, the Swans are unbeaten in five games, winning home games against Stoke and Blackburn, while drawing at Coventry City, Bristol City and Brentford.

It makes for an eye-catching and eagerly-anticipated fixture, and it’s one Cooper and his players are excited about.

“We know it will be a really tough test, they were in the Premier League last season and had a strong Championship campaign the year before,” he said.

“A lot of that structure and the coach are still in place, so a lot of that identity remains and they are a team that commit to that.

“So it will be a tough game, but I think it comes at a good time for us and we are really looking forward to going there and committing to the game.

“We will be ready for it, as these are the games you have got to look forward to.

“We don’t fear anybody. We embrace the challenges in front of us, even at the end of this really busy period.

“We are really looking forward to it. We will be looking to attack it with everything we have got, because that is always our idea.”
